Steven's Monthly Conference Calls

Steven Horne (and sometimes Kimberly Balas) do a free teleconference call for our customers and downline. All calls are held at 8:30 Eastern, 7:30 Central, 6:30 Mountain and 5:30 Pacific Time.

Topics and dates for the calls this fall are:

Monday, January 19, 2009 - Have a Heart

Modern medicine treats the heart as if it were only a mechanical pump, but when we feel things in our heart, it seems like the heart is much more than just a pump. Well, new research is proving this is true. Our heart is a brain, a gland, an electromagnetic broadcasting station and a communication center.

The fact is, that heart health has a lot to do with our emotions and our relationships. Sure, diet and nutrition play an important role, but because the heart is the emotional "brain" of the body, how we deal with our feelings has a huge impact on the health of our heart.

On this call, we'll discuss how to keep your heart healthy both phsyically and emotionally. We'll discuss supplement for the heart, plus how hardening our heart contributes to heart disease, and how we can learn to open and soften our heart again for better health.

Monday, February 23, 2009 - Cleanse Your Colon

One of the most basic problems many people have with their health is the Oriental affliction "hung chow." Okay, that's a very BAD joke, but the problem of constipation is much more wide-spread than most people think. And, while it won't kill you immediately, having poor elimination through the bowels is going to slowly undermine your health and vitality.

That's why one of the most basic natural therapies for improving general health is the colon cleanse. Unfortunately, there are a lot of "myths" about colon cleansing, including the idea that your guts are coated with gooey stuff. Don't worry. It isn't so. This doesn't mean colon cleansing doesn't do people a lot of good, it's just that we need to separate fact from fiction.

So, on this call, we'll explain what colon cleansing really is, how to do it and the benefits you can obtain from a good cleanse. We'll also have an in-depth discussion on NSP's new product Gentle Move, which I helped to formulate. It is a fantastic product for colon health.

Monday, January 5, 2009 - Stress-Less

Who would deny that stress is a major enemy of our health. I can't think of a single time I've been sick in my life that wasn't associated with stress in some way or another. That's partly because chronic stress depresses our immune system. It also contributes to just about every other disease you can name.

Fortunately, there are tools for reducing both the amount of stress in one's life and the negative effects that stress has in our lives. For starters, good nutrition helps because stress burns up nutrients in the body. Better nutrient reserves mean better resistance to stress. There are also herbs and supplements that specifically counteract the effects of stress in our lives.

But, the best approach is to learn how to not get stressed in the first place, and there are definite strategies that help you stay calmer and more focused during difficult situations in life. There are also lifestyle changes you can make that will completely counteract the negative effects of stress in your body. This call is right in time for tax season, so be sure to be on this call, if dealing with all that accounting stuff and the IRS makes you as uptight as it makes me.
